Bobby Loyd Reynolds, 84, of Little Rock, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 13th, 2023. He was born on Saturday, May 28th, 1938, in Hattieville, Arkansas to Orville "Bud" Reynolds and Juanita (Sensabaugh) Reynolds.
Following graduation from Wonderview High School in 1956, he married Julia Bennett. They celebrated 66 years together.
He served 6 years in the National Guard and retired from Sears Automotive after 37 years of service. He was a longtime member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. His passion in life was helping others. He volunteered with Build a Church in a Day. Bobby loved his hometown of Hattieville and his good friends there. He loved get-togethers with family and friends, deer and elk hunting, and playing the stock market. Bobby was a generous person, supporting many churches and charities.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Billy Janes and Jimmy Reynolds; sister, Phyllis Kennedy; and sisters-in-law, Maria (Billy), Peggy (Joe), and Margaret (Larry).
He is survived by his beloved wife, Julia; five brothers, Joe Reynolds of NLR, Benny Reynolds (Barbara) of Mabelvale, Larry Reynolds of Bryant, Roy Reynolds (Kathy) of Bryant, and Rickey Reynolds (Debbie) of Benton; sister, Brenda Clark of Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Pallbearers include Joe, Larry, Roy and Rickey Reynolds, Jackie Cook, William Bailey, Rodney Sanders, and Bobby Brents. Honorary Pallbearers include Benny Reynolds, Paul Cook, and Jimmy Green.
Celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 18th, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. with the visitation one hour prior at Hattieville Baptist Church with burial to follow at Old Hickory Cemetery. Services will be conducted by Rev. Bob Burch and Rev. Mike Brakebill.
Julia would like to express her gratitude for all the prayers and visits for Bobby. A special thank you to Michele and William Bailey, her cousin, Nancy Watson, and Bobby's brothers.
