Leretta Jean Howlett, 66 of Mabelvale, Arkansas passed away Monday, February 19, 2018. She was born to Lewis Carter and Leona Carrigan on August 29, 1951 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She loved her grandchildren and going to church. She was a member of Spring Lake Church of the Nazarene for many years.

She is preceded in death by her father, Lewis M. Carter, Sr.

She is survived by her sons, Christopher Howlett (Genie) of Avilla and Steven Howlett of Mabelvale; daughters, Dana Kelley (Chris) of North Little Rock and Pamela Whittamore (Chris) of Mabelvale; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; Mother, Leona Carrigan; brothers, Andy Carter, Mike Carter, Lewis Carter, Jr; sister, Lynne Eagle; a host of friends, church members, and family who love and miss her dearly.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 11:00AM with a visitation an hour prior at Spring Lake Church of the Nazarene in East End. Brother Phil Stein will be officiating the service.
