Larry Dean Reynolds "Opa" died peacefully October 11th, 2025, surrounded by his children, grandchildren and family. Larry was born November 9th, 1944, in Hattieville, Arkansas to Bud and Juanita Reynolds.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Juanita Reynolds; his wife of 52 years, Edeltraud Margarete Pressl "Oma"; brothers, Billy F. Janes (Maria), Bobby Reynolds , Jimmy Carroll Reynolds , Benny Reynolds , and sister, Phyllis Kennedy ; and sister-in-law, Peggy Reynolds.
Larry is survived by two daughters, Christine Fisher of Bryant and Diana Hausam of West Fork; brothers, Joe Reynolds of North Little Rock, Roy Reynolds (Kathy) of Bryant, and Rickey Reynolds (Debbie) of Benton; sister, Brenda Langley of Hurst, Texas; sisters-in-law, Julia Reynolds and Barbara Mills; best friend Nancy Watson; grandchildren, Trystyn Jones of Ketchikan, Alaska, Addisyn Hausam of Prairie Grove, and Aidan Fisher of Bryant. Larry is also survived by a host of extended family and friends that span his entire lifetime.
Larry served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany where he met his wife. Larry and "Traudl" as he lovingly called his bride, met at a dance in 1965 in Germany. They married on September 23rd, 1966, and never danced with another for 53 amazing years.
After his discharge from the Army, Larry and Traudl moved to Arkansas to be near family. Larry was an entrepreneur and started a successful business, Business Machine Systems, from where he retired.
His celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd, 2025 at 11:00 A.M with his visitation the evening prior on Tuesday, October 21st, 2025, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. We will all meet at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 P.M. sharp, where he will be laid to rest and the military honor team will proudly perform his final farewell.
